There are different ways to get help. You will not be alone. I recommend at least one individual within your organization learn the tools beyond day-to-day use. NetSuite is competitive, especially relative to other software solutions that offer similar services but aren’t as integrated and adaptable. Many times, the implementation may be larger than the first year annual investment. However, the effort to get on the platform can vary dramatically depending on the scope, ambition, and implementation approach. When I work with clients, I personally design the implementation to find the right balance between my client’s staff and our consultants. There are third party tools that can backup your NetSuite data on daily frequency to a remote environment. Few companies purchase this service as NetSuite has strong retention practices — but the service is available to those that are highly concerned. I have been following your blog since I was employed as a junior solutions consultant and your has been really helpful. I am a young professional and a new CPA by profession and I am interested at building a career in the ERP industry. Im just new in the labor force and Im excited to learn new things from the corporate world. My company was kind enough to employ me even without any experience regarding IT and ERP, I guess it was my background in Accounting that gave me a chance. I am just having a little difficulty when creating a scoping report or a Scope of Work document because I don’t know the format and the content of the report and also how I can present it effectively and more professionally so readers would understand.
