We started working with a new client that definitely is feeling the pain with Quickbooks. Their Quickbooks file is now 2.5 gigbytes which is considered pretty large. Here are a couple issues they are facing:
- The system can be very slow to use. At times, it is so slow, they can’t get processing done.
- The Quickbooks file easily corrupts causing them to have their employees logout, perform some technical checks, and then hope they can get back into the system.
- Many side spreadsheet systems
- Heavy dependency on the accountant to compile information
- Reports tell them conflicting things
- When traveling, they must rely on people in the office to get information
- And of course, it is very slow to load, performs poorly, and they have data corruption
- eCommerce
- Phone based order entry
- Inventory control
- Warehouse management
- Integration to UPS Worldship
- Integrated Credit card processing
- Financial accounting
A large QuickBooks file is small in the NetSuite environment. And the client is enthusiastic because they can’t wait to activate all the NetSuite CRM related aspects including outbound email marketing.
